Ends when you close your browser or after a period of inactivity.If you use or install the Event Star app, your browser keeps a copy of the last ticket page you opened so it works without a connection at the venue, and remembers if you dismissed the "Get the app" banner. You can clear these by clearing your browser's site data or uninstalling the app.
Event notification emails contain a tiny image. When your email program loads it, the organiser can see that the email was opened. You can prevent this by turning off automatic image loading in your email program.
Event Star does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics cookies. Organisers' own websites and the payment gateways you are sent to (PayFast, Paystack) may use their own cookies under their own policies.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary cookies above, signing in, forms and the Event Star app will not work.
